The aged 2016 Pinot Noir is absolutely beautiful on the palate right now… offering lots of bright acidity, reminiscent of a blend of fresh red fruit that gives it a truly refreshing quality.
The 2017 Pinot Noir offers some amazing aromatics of apple cider, baked pears, baking spices, and nutmeg. The palate has lots of bright acidity as well.
The 2017 Sonata is a robust blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc. With a truly wonderful finish, Jeb Dunnuck describes it as a “…ripe, meaty, medium to full-bodied (wine with)…lots of blackcurrant and blackberry fruits, notes of roasted herbs, chocolate, and cedar, (with) ripe, chewy tannins”.
93 points: Cool climate notes of black raspberries, blackberries, cracked black pepper, violets, and game all emerge from the 2018 Aria, a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, classically styled Syrah. It's already drinking nicely and shows the fresh, focused, pure style of the vintage beautifully. -Jeb Dunnuck
91 points: Checking in as a blend of 45% Cabernet Franc, 23% Syrah, 26% Merlot, and the rest Sangiovese, the 2018 Sonata also has a cool climate-like vibe in its bright red and black fruits, sappy flowers, tobacco, and chocolate aromas and flavors. It brings plenty of sweet fruit on the palate and is medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a clean, classy finish. It's beautifully done. -Jeb Dunnuck
