If you love XO Sauce, as we do, then you will love this Chinese Salad featuring the sauce in the XO Vinaigrette.
No special culinary equipment is needed to prepare this wonderful salad.
For the XO Vinaigrette:
¼ cup of XO Sauce (for the recipe, please click here)
2 tablespoons of Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
1 tablespoon of Lime Juice
1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce
½ tablespoon of Honey
1 teaspoon of Toasted Sesame Oil
½ teaspoon of Hot Chili Oil – optional
For the Chinese Salad:
2 cups of Asian Cabbage Salad Mix
¼ cup of Edamame, shelled
1 tablespoon of Cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons of Mung Bean Sprouts, chopped
2 tablespoons of Carrots, grated
1 Green Onion, finely chopped
6 large Shrimp, cooked, peeled, and deveined
To Prepare the XO Vinaigrette:
Combine all the XO Vinaigrette ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
To Prepare the Chinese Salad:
In the salad bowl, place all the ingredients, and toss together. Serve by pouring the XO Vinaigrette on the salad when you are ready to serve. Add Wonton strips to top it.
