' Al Lago Wines - Lemon Basil Sauce

Lemon Basil Sauce

This sauce is delicious on vegetables, seafood, and also on quiche.  We drizzle it over the Quiche with Seafood (and you can easily access that recipe by clicking on that title) and it is a perfect pairing.

No special culinary equipment is needed to prepare this wonderful sauce.



¼ cup of Mayonnaise

1 tablespoon of Dijon Mustard

1 clove of Garlic, minced

Juice from 1 Lemon

6 leaves of Basil, coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons of Lemon Preserves in Salt (and you can easily access that recipe by clicking on that title)

A dash of Cayenne Pepper




Add all of the ingredients to a blender, and then pulse for a few times until all the ingredients are fully emulsified. 


Serving Suggestions:


We pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle so we can drizzle it over vegetables or seafood.  We also enjoy drizzling it over this delicious Quiche with Seafood (and you can easily access that recipe by clicking on that title).
