We are truly fortunate to have more than 100 avocado trees on our property. When the summer comes, we love to make guacamole and we enjoy this recipe along with freshly made tortilla chips.
No special equipment is needed to prepare this wonderful Guacamole.
3 Avocados
½ cup of White Onion, finely chopped
2 Green Onions, finely chopped
1 clove of Garlic, minced
¼ cup of fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
Half of a Jalapeno Chili, very finely chopped (to your taste)
Half of a Serrano Chili, very finely chopped (to your taste)
Juice of 1 Lime, freshly squeezed
1 cup of Tomatoes, chopped in about 1/8 - ¼ inch pieces (recommendation: Roma Tomatoes, but you can use Cherry Tomatoes, or other tomatoes, but strain them to make sure you are not adding extra liquid to the Guacamole)
2 tablespoons of Green Tabasco Sauce (to your taste)
Salt and pepper (to your taste)
Cut the avocados in half, and remove the pit. Use a spoon to remove the “meat” of the avocado from the skins. Discard the skins and use a fork to mash the avocado “meat” in the bowl. Once the avocado is mashed, add the remaining ingredients and mix the guacamole until all ingredients are fully integrated.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve with either freshly made or store-bought tortilla chips. We also enjoy this guacamole with tacos, taco salads, and many other dishes.
