This is a delightful “palate cleanser” or a fresh dessert.
It is important to have an ice-cream machine for the preparation of this wonderful sorbet.
3 cups of Cantaloupe, peeled and cubed
1-½ tablespoons of Mint, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of fresh Lime Juice
2 tablespoons of Vodka
1 tablespoon of Rice Vinegar
⅓ cup of Ultra-fine Sugar
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend them until they are smooth. Place the contents into the refrigerator and chill them for about 4 hours. After four hours, remove the contents from the refrigerator and add them into your ice cream maker, and follow the directions of the ice cream maker for making a sorbet.
Freeze the sorbet in the freezer for a few hours and then it is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve as a palate cleanser with a fresh mint sprig or as a nice fresh dessert.
