Absolutely Amazing Asparagus and Prosciutto Appetizer

This is a simple Italian appetizer that everyone will love.

Equipment

The only culinary equipment needed for this recipe is a vegetable steamer for the asparagus.

Ingredients

Mustard-Mayonnaise Sauce – please see the recipe here

1 bunch of Asparagus

9 ounces of Prosciutto, thinly sliced – one slice per asparagus spear

Directions

Steam the asparagus so that it is somewhat al dente – not overcooked. Cool the steamed asparagus in a bowl with ice and water immediately afterwards to stop the cooking process and to cool the asparagus. Once the asparagus is cooled, wrap each asparagus spear with one slice of Prosciutto.
