The only culinary equipment needed for this recipe is a vegetable steamer for the asparagus.

1 bunch of Asparagus
1 lb of Prosciutto, thinly sliced – one slice per asparagus spear
Steam the asparagus so that it is somewhat al dente – not overcooked. Cool the steamed asparagus in a bowl with ice and water immediately afterwards to stop the cooking process and to cool the asparagus. Once the asparagus is cooled, wrap each asparagus spear with one slice of Prosciutto.
As a serving suggestion, put on a serving plater and serve with our Mustard Mayonnaise Sauce recipe.
